50 Years of MostlyNOT Playing the GuitarMy Songs: Below is a list of songs I've written, with links to: 1) a recording of my song performed and sung by me 2) an AI cover recording of my song generated by Suno AI 3) the back story about the song's origins, the lyrics, and my recording Note about Suno AI covers - I'd much prefer to hire a human-based band and a human-run recording studio to record versions of my songs, but using AI instead fits my budget. I had limited control over the final outcome. I gave Suno AI my recordings and I could adjust my lyrics and suggest a style, but after that Suno AI pretty much did it's own thing. This should give an idea as to what my songs may sound like if professionals decided to perfom them - AND - I much prefer listening to the AI versions rather than my own recordings. I Wonder Why? Your Mind on Music: A short TED Talk on YouTube My Back Story: I played a little guitar in my teen years up into my early 20s. My playing dropped off significantly after that and my Gibson guitar sat for decades and was in need of repairs in the 1990s. I had the guitar repaired in the hopes my son would get interested in playing it. Turns out he was more interested in the trumpet and the guitar sat for a couple more decades. Then in 2022 I became interested again and have been going back through my old notes and finishing songs I had started decades ago and creating a few 21st century ones too. |
