STATUS: Completed December 2022 NOTES: This is something my friend Joe Lane and I created 50 or so years ago. We worked at A&W restaurant and I think we were banging this out on paper during one of our shifts. We really were just goofing around, but since I have the paper it was written on I decided to finish it off. The people referenced are real. I opted to not use lastnames in the final song. The chords were not written down, so the 2022 version is probably a bit different, hopefully better. The 21st-Century-Me made a few edits to the lyrics, but it's basically the same that we wrote in the early 1970s. The chorus was written by 21st-Century-Me. AUDIO RECORDINGS: No fancy equipment or editing. These recordings are chock-full of mistakes in singing, lyrics and guitar playing. They aren't meant for the top 40 list. But they should give someone an idea of how I intended the song to sound. I will continue trying to get the "perfect" recording, but don't hold your breath too long waiting.
